RoHS is sometimes referred to as the "lead free" directive. CG Industries is compliant ahead of the effectivity date of July 1, 2006 (European date) and is proudly RoHS compliant. As with other environmental directives, which begin as guidelines without the enforcement requirements of law, the RoHS directives are being discussed in various regulatory and legislative bodies worldwide. California may be leading the US in this area, with an effectivity date sometime in 2007. |
